The All At Sea Trilogy is a sweeping collection of three short stories that centre around a quiet cottage on the Cornish coast. Just like the choppy waters outside the cottage gate, this story shows how love can rush in and sweep everything else away, taking everything in its path. Beautiful, but sometimes painful and destructive. The prose is lyrical, descriptive and flowery — invoking emotions of loss, love and loneliness.
Thoughtful and reflective, our characters lives weave together over the pages and it’s their own development that moves the story forward in a quiet, quite slow pace that spans years and jumps through time, showing us the little moments in the lives of our characters that changed their trajectories forever.

We don’t get to spend much time with the characters before moving on to the next part of their journey, but they start to feel familiar as we move through. In each step of the way, we hear from everyone involved - hearing from all sides of the story to create a picture of not only the inner turmoil and insecurities of these people, but how their decisions impact others and ripple out into world creating a tangled web of emotions that binds them together.
A delicate, moving story about the way love can change lives — for worse and better.
